Born with a passion for truth and journalism, we at the News & Magazine Committee are a group of motivated individuals who endeavour to be a voice for all. We comprise a well-curated, hand-picked team with diverse literary and journalistic talents. Together, we work to continually enrich the information and communication landscape of NIT Warangal.
Founded in 1969 as the Newsletter and Magazine Committee, our journey began with a simple purpose: to chronicle campus life through weekly newsletters and annual magazines. Over the decades, what started as a modest publication evolved into a cornerstone of student journalism and discourse at NIT Warangal.
In 2017, after forty-eight years of shaping narratives and recording history, we embraced a new identity — the News & Magazine Committee — reflecting our broadened vision and responsibility in a changing media landscape. Today, we stand as a forum for awareness, debate, and truth — a space where difficult conversations are welcomed, and progress is pursued through words that matter.
Our legacy is one of voices — voices that question, inform, and inspire. With each story told and each issue released, we reaffirm our commitment to the ideals that have guided us for over half a century: service to truth, integrity in journalism, and the relentless pursuit of progress.
One of our recurring and primary accomplishments is the publication of PULSE, the Institute’s annual magazine — a holistic culmination of each academic year. It encapsulates the events, festivals, sports, research, and publications of the year, alongside noteworthy projects, statistics, and articles authored by the NIT Warangal fraternity.
Within our mandate, The Bulletin serves the institute with regular, crisp, and concise news articles; The Sentinel covers and reports on campus happenings — from events and projects to institutional growth — while holding those in positions of responsibility to account; and The Digest offers a platform for creative writers to share their voices.
At NMC, we strive to impact the institute positively, regardless of the scale or nature of change. We remain steadfast in our belief in delivering the most relevant and detailed content — with no embellishments.
