A collection of creative and enthusiastic students took part in Kanten Craft, organised by the Technical Association of Biotechnology during Sunday last week. It involved drawing sketches, not with paints or colors but with living bacteria. Painting in sterile cabinets with agar plates as canvas was a fun-filled experience. When results came the next day, they looked stunning, not just because of the designs but the fact that the art pieces were ‘alive’. The winners were then decided based on the complexity of the design, neatness and execution. The winning teams were Idoro 3, SMASH, Sultans of Agar.
