On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Nature Club NITW in association with Students’ Council, Chemical Engineering Association and Chemistry Association, organized three events. The Director, Prof N.V.Ramana Rao and Mr. M. J. Akbar, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Warangal graced the occasion with their presence. The events saw participation from around 150 students and 70 cleaning personnel to clean the campus as a part of the ‘Swacch Bharath-Swacch Campus’ event. This was followed by the ‘Cleanliness Awareness Rally’. As a part of the ‘Plastic-free Campus Initiative’, the club offered cloth bags to students in exchange for plastic ones.
