Following the positive reception of TEDxNITW’s ‘Breaking the Mould’ last year, the second installment of TEDxNITW was conducted on Saturday, 27 October 2018 in the BR Ambedkar Hall and it was bigger and better than the first. The director, deans, faculty and several students attended the event aimed to instigate conversations among the NITW community and beyond. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, the event saw a host of eminent speakers from all walks of life come together under the theme ‘Outlooks’. From Manvendra Singh Gohli on wives of gay men to Dr. Tiny Nair’s enlightening perspective of pain, it was a day dedicated to broadening horizons to never see the issues with the same light again.
